It can be said that Kantipur television was successful in breaking the monopoly of government-owned Nepal Television. Kantipur Media Group is located at Central Business Park, Thapathali, Kathmandu, Nepal. The chairperson and managing director is Kailash Sirohiya. AP1 Television is another most popular television broadcast channel in Nepal.According to wikipedia, It is owned by Annapurna Broadcast Media Pvt. Ltd. sister organization of Annapurna Media Network or 3NI. It was launched in March 31 2017. The chairman is Captain Rameshwor Thapa. AP1 Television gained popularity very quickly because of its program quality and first ever international franchise show Nepal Idol. Besides, It is Nepal first Satellite HD Television.
